Technoblaze'14 is a National level technical symposium organized by Department of Civil Engineering,Government College of Engineering,Salem-11.This year it is going to be conducted on 5th March,2014.

LIST OF EVENTS

PAPER PRESENTATION:

Any innovative topics may be structural or non structural regarding civil engineering

Rules:

Maximum 2 members per team

Maximum 10 pages incl. abstract in size 12.5 & 1.5 spacing

7 min for presentation and 3 min for queries

Kindly send the title of the presentation, participant’s name, college name, year and phone number of anyone of the participant while mailing your abstract

Selected paper will be intimated through mail

Selected participants must bring 3 hard copies and a soft copy of the paper.

CADD MODELLING:

It is an individual event

PRELIMS: Basics of the software AUTOCADD (written)

FINALS: Drafting the given plan and drawing the various views to perfection using AUTOCADD

MODELLING:

Maximum of 3 members per team
Teams have to make structurally sound models using the given materials

TECHNICAL QUIZ:

Maximum 2 members per team from the same college

Question will be from basic civil engineering subjects and current trends in civil engineering

CODE CRACKING:

Maximum 2 members per team

Code books will be provided and questions will be from IS 456:2000, IS 800:2007
